Pentix Classic - Retro Remake App Reviews

I like this game but it is very frustrating when the rotate feature doesnt work. I have to tap every block multiple times before it even moves once and sometimes it doesnt rotate at all causing a bad placement. I regret spending money on this app. I make a point to pay for apps so that this glitchy stuff is worked out. This is not the only review with this feedback and I should have read the reviews closer before buying.

Boring, horrible, what a waste of my money

Im a Tetris fan, have been for years. This version has a couple twists that dont offend my purist side. There is a countdown option so the game can (mercifully) time out without wasting half my afternoon. And there are some new pieces, like the single block or the zig zag, but otherwise very traditional. Overall very satisfied with this purchase.

The game is great.. I wish there were different music choices.

Gimme 4 blocks. Gimme a screen that doesnt move the stupid thing sideways when I dont tell it to. Musics good.

Doesnt deserve a single star, screen reaction dont work... Dont buy this app for real is going to make u mad... U cant control the bricks ...

Enjoy this game very much for my iPad. Didnt want the Tetris since it was different from original and had to pay for it.

Will not rotate! Sometime will, mostly takes 4-10 taps to rotate then often does two 90 degree turns missing where you want Do not buy until they fix this

Piece rotation does not work....grrrrr. Waste of money.

Terrible. The shapes are strange and ever-changing; at first it seems fun if quirky, but its really no substitute for genuine Tetris. Pay for the real deal or skip it altogether.

Dont buy this stupid game. Only has one speed. Lame graphics. Not anything like real Tetris.

I can tap all day and the pieces dont rotate. You cant play the game.

I do not like this game and would NOT recommend it, its very complicated and not like the original Tetris. Do not buy this is not worth 99 cents

Dont enjoy it all. It doesnt react to my touches on the screen and rushes pieces the bottom when I am trying to rotate them. Tetris is far superior.

I love this game big time compared to regular Tetris. I was addicted to Tetris before but when I tried this game I was hooked and Tetris now seems incredibly boring. The only thing I dont like is how I cant play music in the background on my iPhone while playing this game. when I try to turn it on the game turns it back off no matter what I try to do. But other than that I love this game and It really deserves 5 stars but I will not give it 5 until that music bug is fixed.

Dont like the feel. Dont like the newer shapes. I just wasted another 99 cents.

Great idea, looks nice. Controls are COMPLETELY UNRELIABLE! Sometimes the pieces turn, sometimes they dont...bad enough when it happens in Tetris, but this is WAY more complex. Really sloppy programming. On an iPhone 5S having flushed memory by killing all open Apps. It is the app that is at fault! Please fix!!!
